Build for operators
Every screen designed by people who've sat in a credit committee meeting. No imagined workflows. No theoretical features.
We build the platform Nigerian SME lenders deserve — the kind of tooling that exists in San Francisco and Singapore, finally on the rails that actually move naira.
YT Finance started in 2024, after our founders spent two years running an SME lending desk in Lagos. They stitched together five vendors — one for KYC, one for the wallet, one for disbursement, two for reconciliation — and watched a third of their week disappear into spreadsheets.
The platform we wanted did not exist. So we built it — first for ourselves, then for the lenders who kept asking how we shipped so fast.
The first version disbursed ₦14M in its first month, to twenty borrowers, with zero reconciliation tickets. The second version added Flutterwave-rail disbursement and BVN verification in eight seconds. We’ve been compounding from there.
Today YT Finance powers lenders across Nigeria, with infrastructure that takes minutes — not months — to stand up. We’re hiring engineers, designers, and credit specialists who want to ship the financial tooling Africa actually needs.

Every screen designed by people who've sat in a credit committee meeting. No imagined workflows. No theoretical features.
A loan decision shouldn’t take longer than a coffee order. We obsess over the seconds — from the BVN check to the bank settlement.
No flashy launches. We ship security, reconciliation and audit trails as table stakes, not features to brag about.
Previously ran an SME lending desk in Lagos. Builds the rails he wishes he’d had.
15 years across consumer and SME credit at two Nigerian banks. Calibrates every risk model we ship.
Ex-Flutterwave. Cares about microsecond latencies and immaculate audit logs.
We're hiring across engineering, credit and operations. We're also onboarding new lenders every week — reply within 24h, usually less.
